1. Scope

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the sale of watches and related services through the online storefront operated by LEGACY TIMEPIECES LLC (“Legacy Timepieces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), One Cross Island Plaza, Suite 203, Rosedale, NY 11422, United States. By placing an order, submitting an inquiry, or otherwise using the storefront, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not place orders or use the site for purchases.

The version of the Terms published on this page at the time you confirm a Buy Now order is the version that applies to that order.

Customers may also inquire about selling or trading a watch to us. Sell / Trade submissions are requests for evaluation, not purchase contracts by themselves.

2. Conclusion of contract

Product listings, descriptions, and prices on the website are invitations to treat and do not by themselves create a binding sale.

By confirming a Buy Now checkout, you submit a binding offer to purchase the listed watch at the stated sale price, subject to these Terms and to our acceptance.

You will receive an email (or similar confirmation) restating the order reference and directing you to a secure order-access page. That message documents receipt of your offer; it is not by itself final acceptance of the sale unless we expressly say so.

A purchase contract is formed when we accept your order — typically by verifying receipt of payment and confirming fulfillment — or by shipping the watch. We may decline an order without stating a reason. If we decline after funds have been received, we will refund those funds without undue delay by bank transfer to the account from which payment was sent, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

We may also cancel or withdraw before shipment if the watch becomes unavailable through no fault of ours despite reasonable diligence (for example, a prior verified sale of the same unique piece). In that case we will notify you and refund any payment received for that order by bank transfer.

3. Product information, availability, and checks

Listings describe the watch as recorded in our catalog (brand, model, reference, year, condition, set contents, and related details). Pre-owned watches may show ordinary signs of wear. Photographs are illustrative; lighting and screens can affect appearance. The written listing at the time of your order is decisive.

Watches are typically unique or limited in availability. A listing may change or be removed. Confirming Buy Now does not exclusively reserve inventory for you alone; the piece is marked sold when our staff verify payment for an order.

Before accepting an order or shipping, we may review the transaction for availability, fraud prevention, sanctions compliance, and related risk checks, and we may request additional information.

4. Prices and payment (bank wire only)

Prices are shown in United States dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. The sale price displayed at Buy Now confirmation is the watch price for that order. The storefront does not automatically calculate shipping, insurance, tax, duties, or other fees at checkout; any such amounts, if applicable, are confirmed by the desk for your order.

Payment is accepted by bank wire transfer only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Klarna, cryptocurrency, or other card/network payment methods on this storefront.

Wire instructions are provided on your secure order-access page after you confirm Buy Now. Do not rely on emails alone for bank account details. Payment is due as stated on that page. An order remains awaiting payment until our staff verify that funds have cleared.

You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank for the outgoing wire. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment references, intermediary banks, or incomplete remitter information.

Viewing the order-access page does not mark an order paid. Only authorized staff mark an order paid after funds are verified. When an order is marked paid, that watch is recorded as sold.

5. Delivery and shipping

Buy Now collects a shipping address so we can fulfill after payment is verified. Carrier, packing, insurance, timing, and who pays for shipping are confirmed by the desk for the specific watch and destination. See our Shipping page for current guidance.

High-value watches are shipped with appropriate packaging and insurance as arranged for the order. Title and risk pass as stated in the shipping confirmation for your order, subject to applicable law.

Delivery estimates, when given, run from verified payment (or from another date we state in writing) and may be affected by carriers, customs, or events outside our control.

You must provide a complete and accurate shipping address and be available to receive the parcel. Additional costs caused by failed delivery attempts, storage, or address changes may be charged where permitted.

6. Customer obligations

You may not overload, disrupt, scrape, or interfere with the website or our systems, or attempt to bypass security or staff-only areas.

You may not copy or redistribute our product images, text, or other site content without prior written consent, except as allowed by fair use or mandatory law.

You must provide accurate contact and shipping information and use Buy Now and inquiry forms only for lawful purposes.

7. Liability

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but uninterrupted access and error-free transmission cannot be guaranteed. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or updates.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the site or from a purchase, except where liability cannot be limited (including for fraud, willful misconduct, or injury to person where such limits are prohibited).

Our aggregate liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order, except where a greater liability cannot be excluded by law.

8. Condition and authenticity

We describe condition and set contents in good faith based on our inspection and records. Pre-owned watches may show ordinary wear consistent with the stated condition.

If you believe a watch is not as described or has an authenticity concern, contact us promptly with your order reference and details. We will review the claim. Statutory rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.

10. Retention of title

Until we have received cleared payment in full for an order, we retain ownership of the watch. Until then you may not pledge, encumber, or transfer the watch as security.

11. Intellectual property

Legacy Timepieces owns or licenses the site content we publish (including text and images we create). Brand names and logos of watchmakers are trademarks of their respective owners and appear for identification of genuine products.

12. Privacy

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Changes apply to orders confirmed after the updated Terms are published. For an existing order, the Terms in effect when you confirmed Buy Now continue to apply, unless we agree otherwise in writing or a change is required by law.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require another jurisdiction’s law, except that mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence may still apply where they cannot be waived.

If a provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
