Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026. How Legacy Timepieces handles personal information for browsing, inquiries, and bank-wire Buy Now orders.

1. Introduction

LEGACY TIMEPIECES LLC (“Legacy Timepieces,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website and related services, including catalog browsing, inquiries, and Buy Now checkout (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose personal information when you visit the site, contact us, or place an order.

If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy regarding personal information, this Privacy Policy controls for privacy matters.

2. Controller / business identification

LEGACY TIMEPIECES LLC, One Cross Island Plaza, Suite 203, Rosedale, NY 11422, United States. Email: sales@legacy-time.com. Website: https://legacy-time.com.

3. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may process: contact details (name, email, phone, shipping/billing address); order and transaction details (items viewed or purchased, amounts, order references, payment status); communications with us (including Contact and Sell / Trade messages and watch details you provide); technical information (IP address, browser, device, pages requested, approximate timestamps); and cookie/session data needed to run checkout drafts and staff sessions.

We do not collect credit-card numbers through this storefront. Payment is by bank wire transfer only. Wire instructions are shown on a secure order-access page; confirmation emails are written so they do not include full bank account details.

4. Server logs

When you visit the website, our servers may record technical log data such as IP address, date/time, requested URL, referrer, and user agent. We use this to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site and to prevent abuse.

5. Sources of data

We collect information directly from you (forms, checkout, email), automatically through the Services (logs, necessary cookies/sessions), and from service providers that help us host email, infrastructure, or operations — only as needed to run the business.

6. How we use information

We use personal information to: provide and improve the website and catalog; respond to Contact and Sell / Trade inquiries; create and manage Buy Now orders; send order and payment-status communications; arrange shipping after payment is verified; prevent fraud and abuse (including rate limiting); comply with law; and protect our rights and customers.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Cookies and similar technology

The storefront uses an encrypted, httpOnly checkout draft cookie so you can continue a Buy Now session without putting draft details in the page URL. Staff admin sessions use a separate encrypted session cookie.

These cookies are necessary to operate checkout and administration. The public application does not currently load third-party advertising or analytics trackers as part of the core storefront code. If we add non-essential analytics or marketing tools later, we will update this policy and, where required, seek consent.

8. How we disclose information

We may share personal information with: hosting, database, and infrastructure providers; email delivery providers when live email is enabled; shipping and logistics partners when fulfilling an order; professional advisers; and authorities when required by law.

We do not use card networks, PayPal, Klarna, or similar payment processors for storefront checkout, because payment is by bank wire only. Your bank and ours process the wire according to their own terms.

9. Order-access links

After you confirm Buy Now, you may receive a unique order-access URL to view status and wire instructions. Access tokens are stored as irreversible hashes. Staff may revoke or replace a link. Links do not expire automatically unless an expiry is set on a specific token.

10. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection rules than your home country.

11. Retention

We retain lead, order, and related records as needed to operate the business, fulfill orders, handle returns, maintain accounting and tax records, and resolve disputes. Retention periods follow operational need and applicable legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where practicable.

12. Security

We use access controls for staff tools, encrypt sensitive payment-instruction fields at rest, hash order-access tokens, and use secure cookies for checkout drafts and admin sessions. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

13. Children’s privacy

The Services are intended for adults purchasing or inquiring about luxury watches. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14. Your choices and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email sales@legacy-time.com or use the Contact form. We may need to verify your identity before responding. The public site does not currently offer a self-service account portal.

Do not send passwords, full bank account numbers, or other secrets through the public Contact form.

15. Third-party sites

Our site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.

16. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
